27 years in IT — eyes-on-glass monitoring, systems administration, engineering, data center migrations, and more recently automation and AI workflows. I still break things regularly. The difference is I document it when I do.

Texas hockey is real, and I’m in. I’ve yelled at a power play, begged for overtime, and still come back for the next puck drop. Nothing resets a rough week like a good third period.

Vacations worth the airfare

A vacation is the only change window I never try to postpone. I like new places, good food, and a camera roll that’s mostly accidental landscapes. Photos from the road land here and on the blog.
